We Are
NEW YORK CAKES

New York Cakes was born out of a love for American desserts. Two brothers, inspired by the charismatic and nostalgic flavors of their family trip to the USA, decided to bring those same flavours to Sydney's cafe scene in 1995. After years of baking and product testing in their home kitchen, they opened their factory in Taren Point, Sydney, with a few bakers and a limited menu. They soon started delivering to local cafes and restaurants with just a couple of vans.

Today, New York Cakes is a thriving business with a team of 100 staff, a menu of over 170 products, and a fleet of delivery vehicles servicing Sydney, Newcastle, Illawarra, and the ACT. In 2016, the business was taken over by brother/sister duo Arthur and Kalliope, along with their dad Kon, one of the original founders.


Under their leadership,New York Cakes has grown and expanded. They have continued to open their own patisseries, Patisserie New York, and are dedicated to maintaining their high standards of quality and service. With a focus on innovation and attention to detail, Arthur and Kalliope continue to take their business to new heights while staying true to their roots and love for food.
